Finally got to listen to most of these albums. Not all of them to 100%, but enough to get an idea of their worth, or so I’d like to believe. In fact, I did I listen to a few of them around the time of your reviews, but completely forgot about it.
The ranking is somewhat meaningless, but I do enjoy the conversation around the albums. I must say I honestly side with Jason and Tyler for the most part, and if it was up to me, I would probably be harsher and I wouldn’t place anything above B tier.
Profanatica: Sounds like Profanatica being Profanatica. Not sure will ever revisit.
Blood Oath: Death PTSD…. pass.
Sammath goes to B tier, prob alone in there. Might revisit.
Demoncy: Tyler is right on the money with this one. Why not just listen to the good ol’ ones?
Cruciamentum: They do the right thing, but fail to be exciting.
Desecresy. this one hurts, as I’m really fond of their first 2, but have a hard time going back to the rest, besides couple of songs from each.
Ascendency: Agree with Tyler, first one is better. But every time I’m reminded of Sullen Eyes I end up listening to that one for the 999999999999th time instead.
